Firstly, take 250 gm durum wheat semolina spaghetti pasta.
Boil 8 cups of water with 1 tsp oil and 1 tsp salt. Add spaghetti pasta to it. The water level should be above the pasta. Add more water if needed. Check the instructions on the pasta pack for boiling them.
I have boiled the spaghetti pasta for 10 minutes till al dente. We keep the pasta slightly undercooked because we will cook it again with the sauce. Once pasta is boiled, put it on a colander and pour some water on it to stop the cooking process. Sprinkle some oil over it and keep it aside. We will use some pasta water in the preparation later so keep aside the pasta water that we got after boiling the pasta.
Add 2 tbsp oil to a non-stick pan and heat it. Add 7 cloves of finely chopped garlic to it.
Further, add 1.5 tsp Italian seasoning and 1/2 tsp chili flakes to it, and stir.
Additionally, add 400ml ready tomato puree or store-bought strained tomato sauce (preferably made from Italian tomatoes) and salt to taste. Give it a stir and cook for a minute.
Add boiled spaghetti pasta and 5 chopped basil leaves to it.
Add 1/2 cup pasta water that we got after boiling the pasta. Cook for a minute or two.
Add 2 tsp of cheese spread and 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese, and mix. Your tasty, quick, and easy spaghetti pasta is ready to be served, garnish with some chopped basil leaves and 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese.
